Fort Worth Country Day bid farewell to 84 students in the Class of 2016 on May 13 – but welcomed 84 alumni into its Falcon fold. The class continued its tradition of a gift to the Head of School while receiving their diplomas. This year: crazy socks and gifts totaling $3,550.33 to the Beverly Anne Robinson Faculty Endowed Scholarship Fund. This year’s class garnered $8.2 million in merit-based scholarships and awards and were accepted into 109 different colleges and universities
The graduation ceremony for Fort Worth Country Day’s Class of 2016 is tonight at 7 p.m. at McKinney Church. Gustavo Torres is valedictorian; Reagan Mulqueen is salutatorian. The ceremony will be streamed live at fwcd.org/graduation for those family and friends who live out of town or are unable to attend. he Used Uniform Store also is collecting gently used uniforms (jumpers, shorts, shirts). Donations can be dropped off at the Peter A. Schwartz Administration Building.
