The College Counseling Office at Fort Worth Country Day School values a close relationship with college admission officers. We welcome the opportunity for you to visit our school and our students as well as to learn more about the academic and extracurricular opportunities at FWCDS.

We very much appreciate the time and effort college representatives make in coming to speak with our counselors and students. Official representatives of college admission offices may make arrangements to visit by calling the College Counseling Office at 817.302.3246 or sending email to the College Counseling Office.

Students may be excused from class to meet with college representatives (with teacher approval). We make every attempt to accommodate a college representative's visit. To reduce the time a student misses from class, however, it is best to begin a visit according to the daily class schedule below.

8:10 - 8:55 Class
9:00 - 9:45 Class
ASSEMBLY - Assembly period is not a good time to visit.
10:25 - 11:10 Class
11:15 - 12:00 Class
12:05 - 12:50 Class
LUNCH - Lunch is not a good time to visit.
1:35 - 2:20 Class
2:25 - 3:10 Class

I-20 Heading West (From I-35W)
- Continue on I-20 approximately 4 miles.
- After Hulen St exit, I-20 splits and Southwest Blvd/hwy183 forks off to your right. Stay right on Southwest Blvd and take the first exit, Frontage Road.
- After the stop sign, continue forward down a small hill (big for Texas); at the bottom turn right immediately onto Country Day Lane. There is a small Country Day sign on one corner and an apartment complex on the other.
-Country Day Lane goes directly into campus.
-Parking is usually available on the left or right (behind the trees).
-The College Counseling Office is on the first floor of the Upper School (at the bottom of the stairs).

I-30 Heading West
- Pass Downtown Fort Worth.
- Exit Bryant Irvin and go left (south) 3.0 miles.
- AFTER you pass the light at Bellaire, you can see the campus and football stadium on your left. Turn left on Bryan Henderson.
- Bryan Henderson dead ends into Country Day Lane; turn left on to campus.
-Parking is usually available on the left or right (behind the trees).
-The College Counseling Office is on the first floor of the Upper School (at the bottom of the stairs).

I-20 Heading East (From Aledo, Weatherford)
- Exit Bryant Irvin and turn left (north).
- Go through 4 lights including those under the Southwest Blvd/183 bridge.
- Take the first right onto Bryan Henderson. (There is a small FWCDS sign on one corner and an office building with a Spanish tile roof on the other.)
-Bryan Henderson dead ends into Country Day Lane; turn left on to campus.
-Parking is usually available on the left or right (behind the trees).
-The College Counseling Office is on the first floor of the Upper School (at the bottom of the stairs).
