Join fellow alumni, current students, FWCD parents and FWCD faculty at the first Alumni Speaker Series event. This event is free.

Richard Garvey '72, current FWCD parent, will discuss the plans for the revitalization of the 7th Street corridor between downtown Fort Worth and the Cultural District, focusing on the Museum Place project. "Encompassing 11 acres, Museum Place will include upscale retail stores, unique restaurants, class A office space, hundreds of residences and a boutique hotel," Garvey said. He added, "Museum Place is not a suburban town center, but the redevelopment of several existing city blocks that were once a proud, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood."

Since 1992, Richard Garvey has served as president of JaGee Holdings, LLP - the parent company for the diverse group of businesses owned and operated by the Garvey family. He is also the owner and co-developer of the Museum Place Development Group, Ltd. He has been a great supporter of FWCD as an alumnus, a parent and a member of the Board of Trustees.

Join us for this exciting kickoff of the Homecoming weekend. The Homecoming Court will be announced, and get into the FWCD spirit with cheers!

5:30 p.m. -- Senior Dad's Cookout
Enjoy cheeseburgers cooked by the FWCD senior dads, including Alumni Association President David Ekstrom ’75. Come and mingle with classmates and faculty, and bring the kids! We'll give away t-shirts and raffle off a few exciting prizes.

7:30 p.m. -- Battle of Bryant Irvin Homecoming Game
Come cheer on the Varsity Football team as the Battle of Bryant Irvin continues with this exciting game against the Trinity Valley Trojans. We'll present the Class Reunion gifts and announce our Wall of Fame inductees at Half Time.

7:15 a.m. -- Fort Worth Country Day "Thrill of the Hill" benefitting Summerbridge
Get a class team together and join this exciting 5K, cross-country, walk/jog race benefitting FWCD's own Summerbridge, A Breakthrough Program.
